SKIDATA Product Implementation Case - National Stadium
SKIDATA's "Handshake.Logic" supports the management of the automatic gate system at the National Stadium.
The National Stadium, completed in 2019, introduced a world-standard automatic gate system utilizing cutting-edge technology to efficiently process entry tickets for over 60,000 spectators, with 144 automatic authentication machines installed at each entry gate. The management of a total of 152 authentication devices, including the entry and exit management system and eight handheld devices, adopted SKIDATA's entry and exit management system "Handshake.Logic," which has over 10,000 implementations in more than 100 countries worldwide. The automatic gate system's initial operation supported the entry of approximately 50,000 guests during the National Stadium opening event in December 2019. The introduction of the automatic gate system significantly reduces simple tasks such as traditional ticket checking and manual headcounts, while also allowing real-time monitoring of spectator entry conditions at each gate, area, or the entire stadium, enabling flexible reallocation of support staff. Additionally, by reducing face-to-face contact opportunities between visitors and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, it helps lower infection risks while improving the efficiency and labor-saving aspects of event management and staff allocation.
